Clint Gielink: Clint grew up on cattle and game ranches near the Botswana border. After completing school in South Africa, he headed north driven by the firelight tales of his grandfather.
His earlier experiences include setting up a commercial tropical fish industry on the shores of Lake Kariba and guiding fishing safaris on the upper Zambezi. Clint continued on to the private concession areas in the Okavango Delta - the heartbeat of Africa! In three years he had built and managed two lodges and a private concession, constructed various bush bridges, airfields and roads and learnt to speak Setswana.
As the managing director of Game Trails, Clint still makes time to personally guide his guests, entertaining them with his good sense of humour and unique character.
Shaffy Pandor: Bush Capone, Hawke Eye or Shaffi, as he is commonly known, is passionate about the mystifying natural world of Botswanas Okavango Delta.
Shaffi grew up on a cattle ranch on the Molopo River in Botswana, where his appreciation of nature and the wild began. After completing school, he wanted to broaden his horizons and took a post with a trucking company delivering goods throughout Southern Africa. However, his passion for the Botswana wilds beckoned his return and return he did.
Having gained valuable experience working in Botswanas tourism industry for over seven years, in both lodge and mobile operations, Shaffis passion and enthusiasm are untamed making him an excellent guide.
Nick Langton: Nick spent his childhood in Tanzania and soon fell in love with the outdoors. After high school in South Africa, he specialized in Agriculture and lived in rural Zimbabwe, teaching tribal farmers. He later travelled the world, farming in Israel, New Zealand and Swaziland.
He has now settled in Botswana and dedicates all his time to his first love - wildlife. With years of experience, a great general knowledge and a keen sense of humour, Nick makes a wonderful guide.
